Can an eligible Organisation apply to TDS (short term stream) more than once?
Yes, however there is limit of three courses per staff member.

I am an Administration Manager in an OATSIH funded Indigenous health organisation. Can I apply for financial support to undertake a Diploma of Management?
Yes. You are eligible under the TDS (long term stream) guidelines as the course will be longer than 6 months in duration.

If I leave the Organisation can I continue to receive financial support to complete the study?
No. Financial support is cancelled if the participant leaves the Organisation unless they are transferring to another eligible organisation.

I am a clinical manager transitioning to a non clinic role. Can I apply to TDS?
Yes. If you are a transitioning manager in your organisation and have met all other eligibility criteria you are welcome to apply. You will need to supply written evidence from your organisation confirming the transitioning role.

What is an eligible Indigenous Organisation?
Eligible Indigenous health organisations must be receiving the majority of their funding from OATSIH and providing primary health care or a substance use or social and emotional wellbeing service (including Link Up and Bringing them Home counselling service) or an advocacy service; or a combination of these services.

What is Recognition of Prior Learning? (RPL)
RPL is an assessment process that assesses a person's previous learning to determine the extent to which they have achieved the required learning outcomes, competency outcomes, or standards of entry to, and/or partial or total completion of, a qualification.

Applicants are encouraged to contact the Administrator, their local affiliate, or specific vocational education and training sector provider to discuss RPL.
