The Training and Development Scheme Short Term funding stream is for all staff members of eligible Indigenous Health Organisations undertaking short courses relevant to achieving or maintaining accreditation.

This funding can be accessed by individuals; or organisations may submit one application on behalf of a number of staff undertaking the same course.

Am I eligible?

You are likely to be eligible for the short term funding stream of TDS if:

  • You are a staff member (clinical or non-clinical) involved in assisting an eligible Indigenous Health organisation achieve accreditation or re-accreditation OR;
  • You are a staff member (clinical or non-clinical) who needs specific training as a requirement of accreditation
  • The course you have selected is six months or less in duration and costs less than $2000 per person

Applications for the TDS short term funding stream can be submitted any time throughout the year and are assessed on an ongoing basis.
